News to Go

Digital Rights Management or DRM rears its ugly head. TIVO may be implementing it in version 7.2 of its OS. The change may give broadcasters the ability to prevent viewers from recording and saving a show past a certain date. If they do this TIVO as a company will likely soon be history. The story likely is an aberration but caution is in order, DRM is a nightmare.

Patrick Norton's Digital Life TV is really cool. He was part of the old Screensavers crew. He also works with Leo Laporte on This Week In Tech or TWiT. Digital Life TV has its 5th episode on LIVE today at 9PM Eastern.
