L'etoile Restaurant

Tried this restaurant in C'ville recently. Here is the website.

Went ther for dinner. The restaurant is right near the train tracks so if you sit outside be prepared for a bit of a noise every so often as a freight train makes its way down the track. The service is actually pretty good. We were greeted pretty quickly and we came in before 6:00 PM so seating was not an issue. The restaurant is located near Continental Divide (more on this C'ville restaurant next week) on the way to the Downtown Mall.

The menu on the website is not up to date (I don't know if they update the site). I had a salad that was made with greens and Mozarrela in a Balsamic vinegar dressing. It was actually pretty good. We also tried the grilled shrimp. For a main course I tried the crusted catfish (thats not on the website) which was a OK. I was expecting a sauce of some type with it (you know French restaurant....). The desert was good. They recently added a chocolate cake that is warm and a bit gooey which was really good. I had to fight over desert with my wife. It was overall an excellent meal.

Expect dinner for two to run $80-120 with drinks (2 Glasses of Wine).
